In reacting to the news of Elder Henry’s passing, EJC President, Dr. Eric Nathan said his passing is a great loss to the church and community. “He was a seasoned, long time senior leader in the church. He was a lay preacher, first Elder and a member of the EJC Executive Committee. Just as how the world would go to him for comments, the conference would go to him for fatherly advice.”

Pastor Nathan reflected on Martin Henry as a man with the utmost respect for church leadership and noted that humility was a hallmark of his character.
