#missionproject19 WJC Countdown: Granville, Cave, Lambs River & Cornwall Mountain

With approximately 50 days until the execution of the Mission Project 2019 programme, that runs between January 19 and February 9, 2019, churches are embarking on numerous community outreach projects and healthy lifestyle promotion initiatives, and are impacting lives across the West Jamaica Conference. This is in keeping with the theme: “Wholistic Health for personal and National Transformation.”

The Seventh-day Adventist Congregations in Cave, Granville, Cornwall Mountain and Lambs River have shared with us a few of the activities that they have planned and executed in preparation for next year’s programme. We hope that as you read and view you will be inspired to do your part wherever you are in the Conference.

The events are organized according to the time that they occurred, starting with the latest.

Seaford Town District conducted two health fairs in the District; at the Lambs River, Community Centre put on by the Lambs River Church and at the Cornwall Mountain Primary organized by the Cornwall Mountain congregation.

Over 50 persons received medical attention and were given hot meals at the Cornwall Mountain site. While over in Lambs River, community members were empowered with special presentations from the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) and over 70 persons were beneficiaries of various health checks, massages, foot spa treatments and other health-related services.
